Identity Crisis

Sorry I haven't been around the last couple of months. I was in some gloomy identity crisis mode that I couldn't shake. Who am I? Why doesn't my work look like that? etc.

Just a mess. And for no good reason.

After a lot of tears (from me) and support and ledge-talking-down-from with Mr. Dailyhat. I'm feeling a lot better and a ton more confident. Admiral Hat noticed that I hadn't done any drawing or design that I liked and wanted to do for a while and I needed to get back to it. I got caught up trying to do what I thought everyone else wanted.

My advice: Don't do that. It's miserable.

So. Brace yourself for the next lord knows how many posts, but I pulled some old sketches and doodles and exercises to share with you and to jump start my creative spirit. Feel free to love them or hate them, comment, critique, question.

Here we go. I suppose after sharing crybaby information like that self portraits might be fitting.
